Dasha Kelly, Milwaukee Program Coordinator
Dasha Kelly is an eloquent and accomplished writer who is able to unfold the spoken word into a variety of precision tools: as a performer, lecturer, and instructor. She has published a novel, "All Fall Down," shared stages with Tommie Davidson and Angie Stone, and in 2007, she will appear on the sixth season of HBO's Def Poetry Jam. Host of Milwaukee's longest-running urban open mic and founder and director of Still Waters Collective, Dasha creates community platforms for new and seasoned writers as well as facilitates workshops on leadership, creativity, and women's empowerment.
